Getting Here
The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport offers a myriad of accommodations for travelers to make their journey more smooth. Simply notify the airport prior to your arrival and they will arrange your accommodations. The airport has recently implemented the Hidden Disabilities Program to provide further assistance and understanding for travelers with non-visible disabilities.

Attractions
Wander the hallowed grounds of the Texas State Capitol and marvel at the grand interior. Visitors will find wheelchair access on the outdoor grounds as well as throughout the building, large print and braille publications and ASL interpreters available at your request.
Visit a few notable Austin museums like The Contemporary Austin- Laguna Gloria. Just west of downtown this museum features a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden with an ADA accessible ramp for all to explore. The Contemporary boasts two awe inspiring locations, the second being The Jones Center located downtown, and when you buy a ticket for one location you receive free admission to the second location within the same week. Check out the Blanton Museum of Art or the Bullock Texas State History Museum that each offer accommodations like sign language interpreters, audiovisual aids and more.
The Paramount Theater downtown offers accommodations for people with all abilities to enjoy the comedy show, a classic film or rising musician. You can’t properly visit Austin without enjoying some live music so stop by the Moody Center and catch a major headlining artist. Both venues offer accessible seating, interpreting services, assistive listening devices and more to accommodate all guests.
Catch an Austin FC match at Q2 Stadium. Fans with mobility issues can request Wheelchair escorts upon entering the stadium. Additionally, fans with auditory disabilities can find closed captioning throughout the match and assisted listening devices available for checkout. Circuit of The Americas makes it easy to enjoy the high-speed races with ADA accessible seating options and an accessible shuttle to transport guests with mobility issues to and from arena entrances.

Outdoors
With ramps and a sidewalk down to the water's edge as well as a chair lift and a water accessible wheelchair it’s easy for everyone to enjoy the cooling waters at Barton Springs Pool.
If you’re looking for excellent views of downtown the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail meanders around Lady Bird Lake for 10 miles. There are dozens of access points to the trail, but there are accessible parking spaces in the paved parking lot off of South Lamar Boulevard. The trail is generally paved and smooth with a mostly gentle grade (5% or less), however the stretch at the 9.5 mile marker is steeper and visitors with mobility aids may require assistance.
Visitors to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center can enjoy miles of accessible trails to enjoy the vibrant native flora. The garden pathways are well-kept, wide and composed of crushed rock making it easy for those with mobility aids to move throughout the grounds.

For visitors here on business, the Austin Convention Center is fully equipped to accommodate all abilities. The center features multiple ramps and automatic door entrances, large accessible restrooms and nursing mothers rooms throughout the venue.
