Retail & Visitor Services Coordinator
Back to Top of ListWe are immediately hiring for two part-time Retail and Visitor Services Coordinators for the Austin Visitor Center. Please submit application via Linkedin.
Summary of Position and Duties:
- Welcoming and engaging customers as they enter the Visitor Center
- Working with cash registers and processing payments with accuracy
- Assist with tour bookings and assist customers with tour information
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
- Manage all aspects for the online store; including orders, posting merchandise and descriptions
- Provide support in all aspects of retail procedures; ticket sales, receiving, merchandising, and inventory controls
- Provide general inquiries via phone, email and in person about the city and all the city’s offerings including tours, attractions, and other things to do
Key Qualifications:
- Experience and excellent skills in customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer, point of sale (POS), and database skills
- Cash handling experience
- Able to work independently
